You can either ring the practice on 02920 023800 or email us on enquiry@cardiffvetcentre.com. If you do email please wait for conformation of your appointment.
We have a car park located right outside the practice. If you struggle to get your pet into us please call us from the car and a member of our team can come out and help.
You will be greeted by reception who will let the vet or nurse know that you have arrived. You can then take a seat and wait to be called in the consult room. Once your appointment has finished we ask you to pop back to reception to collect any medication, re book any further appointments and make payment if required.
During normal working hours If your pet is involved in an accident or requires emergency treatment call the practice immediately and our reception team will triage with the vet to ensure you are offered an appointment as a priority. Please answer as many questions in detail as possible. During out of hours please call the practice on 02920 023800 and you will be diverted to our out of hours provider – Valley Veterinary Hospital.
If you do have any further questions after your appointment don’t hesitate to either contact us via telephone or email and the vet will then be in contact with you.

The fee’s we charge will be calculated on the exact treatment or care your pet requires. An estimate will be given before any treatment plan is provided. We try to keep prices as affordable as possible while also being able to maintain high standards of medical and surgical facilities.

All fee’s are payable in full at the time of treatment or upon discharge if your pet is in inpatient. We may ask for a deposit prior to any major surgeries.
We accept payments by cash, visa debit, visa, master card, delta, American express and switch.
Yes, we do offer direct claims with reputable insurance companies. Before approving a direct claim, we will ask for policy documents and for you to contact your insurance to give us permission to speak with them on your behalf. We may need to carry out a pre authorisation to ensure that your claim will be paid. Terms and conditions will apply with each different insurance company.

Please call the practice and request a repeat prescription with at least 48 hours’ notice. We ask for notice as we may not have your prescription in stock and it will need to be ordered in and then authorised by a vet.
