Team Category: Registered Veterinary Nurses

Jess

My name is Jess.
I qualified as an RVN in March 2023 and joined Cardiff Veterinary Centre in September 2023.
My interests are hospitalisation and giving TLC to all our inpatients.
I am hoping to rescue a kitten or 2 in the future.

Natalie Grunewald

My name is Natalie and I’ve been an RVN in first opinion practice for 6years. I graduated with an FDSc veterinary nursing science degree at Hartpury college.
This part year I have been a teacher as well as travelling Australia so I am excited to get back in to a clinic full time and get stuck in. My favourite interests are in rehabilitation and minor surgery/wounds. In my spare time I am busy with my horse Millie who I compete with in dressage and walking my crazy cockerpoo Rosie.

Nikki Smart

“Nikki graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology in 2016 before changing careers to become a veterinary nurse. She has a strong interest in surgery and critical care and plans to complete a certificate in surgical nursing. Outside of work she has recently started volunteering with Street Vet and has a blind rescue cat called Peanut who is her absolute world.”

Ola Glabicka

Ola graduated with FdSc in Veterinary Nursing and Applied Animal Behaviour in 2019 from Anglia Ruskin university.
She started in a mixed practice in Wiltshire, then progressed to a busy small animal hospital. There, she did a mix of overnight emergency and critical care and days.

Ola’s interests are anaesthesia, feline care and surgery. In future, she would like to complete an anaesthesia certificate.

She has recently relocated to Cardiff and owns an Oriental cat called Seaweed.
