Zena

I was born in Cardiff & graduated from the Royal Veterinary college London in 2022.

After graduation, i returned home & completed the graduate programme with the PDSA which allowed me to see a huge number of pets along with overnight emergency work & critical surgeries.

I love all aspects of veterinary medicine with my favourite being surgery. Most of my spare time is spent either with my 4 year old boxer dog Zeus or in the gym

Laura Bouhelier

Laura grew up between London and Paris. She graduated from the university of
Cardenal Herrera in Valencia (Spain) in 2019.
She went on to complete a rotating internship in a referral hospital next to Paris (CHV des Cordeliers) where she also did emergency critical care work overnight.
Laura moved to Cardiff in 2020 and has been working ever since in a clinic in Merthyr with Medivet.

Laura is interested in all aspects of veterinary Medecine, her favourites being soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, as well as performing ultrasounds.

She lives with her boyfriend and their cat Chamallow (marshmallow in French), a fluffy diabetic Norwegian forest cat.

Lorenzo Carta

Lorenzo graduated from the university of Sassari, Sardinia, Italy in 2004. Moving to the UK shortly after graduating, he began working at the animal charity PDSA in the North of England. During this time Lorenzo discovered his passion for orthopaedic surgery, advanced soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

In 2010 Lorenzo moved to London and opened a practice in East London, along with being a joint partner in two other practices.

Moving to Cardiff with his family in 2019 Lorenzo has worked for Valley Vets and was most recently Clinical Lead for the Merthyr region with Medivet.

Lorenzo’s main interests are advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

He loves cat and dogs, and is looking forward to having some join the family when his children are a bit older!
